The Barn

The Barn

Custom built in Connecticut using old-fashioned post-and-beam construction, we added the barn to the farm property in 2025. We wanted our barn to reflect the more than 100 years that our land has been preserved for agriculture, and we hope that it carries the farm for another 100 years of operation.

The construction of our barn was a true neighborly undertaking. The material was delivered to our neighbor’s property (John Viera) who lives two miles down the road, then brought to the farm by our other neighbor (Colton Fields) by trailer/forklift, then another neighbor (Tyler Reeves) brought his mini-excavator to the farm and we raised the frame in two days. The barn now holds our harvests, and functions as a gathering space for visitors.
